The Young Artist Competition is an annual competition for musicians up to age 23. Winners will be awarded a solo appearance with the Adelphi in our upcoming concert season.

Divisions:

• College (student in a University/College/Conservatory  18 – 23);

• Senior (High school student 15-18) ;

• Junior (14 and under) Division – As of Feb 1 2026

• Past Soloists with the orchestra will be ineligible

Important Deadline:

1. February 1, 2026, Video Audition cut off.

Finalists will be chosen from the Video Round

2. Saturday, April  18, 2026,

Finals in Marc Scorca Hall  at the National Opera Center NYC.

Awards will be given in each category and soloists chosen for the 2025-26 Concert Season

Audition for the Young Artist Competition

Video Round:

1.  Select a work of your choice (one movement of a concerto) or a short piece. 

2. Accompaniment is not required but suggested. 

3. Submit an audition recording via  Youtube, Vimeo.

4.  Complete the Online Application

5. Pay the $85 Application Fee
